Our retail warehouse manager Tyler V. has been rocking the most incredible Sims jersey at least a couple times a week for as long as I can remember. Finally I had to get the story on this piece of snowboarding history. This beautiful creation was picked up by Tyler in 1992, just before his freshman year in highschool. “I remember seeing it in the shop and liking it so much I had to get two, a blue one and a red one”. “It was back in the day when he was riding with Noah Salasnek, Terry Kidwell and Shannon Dunn. Those guys killed it so hard.” After snapping a few photos of Tyler and his Jersey we started talking about set ups. “Man, back then I was riding my very first board ever, a Morrow Multipro 165 that I picked up in Boise. I had Morrow bindings and some old Burton work boot type things. That setup was sick. I wound up selling it years later in a ski swap”. Well maybe one day you can reconnect with your long lost stick but until then thanks for stoking us out every other day with that rad jersey.
