JJ Thomas Places 5th at Copper Mtn.

The best superpipe snowboarders in the worlds were all at Copper Mountain, Colorado, this week for the first US Grand Prix event. At the first of the stops that will help determine the 2010 US Olympic Team, JJ Thomas made it to the final round. He hit precise back-to-back 1080 combos which placed him in the top 5 where he finished behind behind Shaun White, Louie Vito, Zack Black, and Fredrik Austbo.
