Last night a vacant store in downtown Eugene transformed into a poppin’ gallery for local skateboard artists.  The plot at 8th and Willamette saw a constant crowd of about 200 people.  Not bad for the tiny space.  Overall, the SES fundraiser was a major success with multiple boards selling for $100 or more.  Word on the street is one went for over $200.

Tactics would like to thank the Skaters for Eugene Skateparks Organization for the effort they’ve put forth making the Washington-Jefferson Park a reality.  Also, a big ‘Thank You’ to all the sponsors, Red Bull, Ninkasi Brewing, Wild Duck Catering, Boardsports, Insight’s Garage Artists, Vans, Etnies, Evolved Ink Tattoo Shop, the Parlour Tattoo Shop and Crater Lake Vodka.
