Portland and Seattle’s Greasebus

“It’s not a green movement, just an appropriate way of going about your life.” — Pete Michelinie, Greasebus co-manager

Doesn’t that just sound nice? Michelinie isn’t trying to greenwash anything. Not trying to jump on a bandwagon of living a greener life for the title. It’s just the appropriate way. Make sense to us.

If you haven’t heard of the Greasebus, it’s a group of environmentally conscious snowboards taking other like-minded individuals to and from Portland, Ore. and Seattle, Wash.

For $20, you can get from downtown Portland to Mt. Hood or Seattle to Stevens Pass. And because the Greasebus runs off veggie oil, you know you’re doing your part to ensure future winter seasons with plenty of snow…unlike the season we’re currently in.
