Official grand opening of Ed Benedict skate plaza in Portland
By Benson | May 21, 2009
The great northwest knows how to take care of its skaters. With projects like Burnside and companies like Dreamland Skateparks, it’s no wonder Oregon has some of the best skateparks in the world. The city of Portland has a master plan to open up a total of 19 skateparks; they’ve already finished five.
The Ed Benedict Skate Plaza is Portland’s newest park. It’s already open to skating, but the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is Saturday, May 30th. If you’re in the area, check it out!
