Nick Propios is coming off a fourth place finish at the Red Bull Manny Mania last week and he’s still skating strong.  The other day, I went out with him and Justin James to scope some spots and see what we could shoot.  Nick wanted to get a photo at a spot in northwest Eugene, but when we got there, a car was super close to the landing and he didn’t want to chance it.

Not all was lost, though.  I snapped some photos for the Eugene Spot Blog and we headed to the University of Oregon to check out the new music building and see if there was anything to skate.  It felt like the place was built for skating.  Gaps, ledges, hand rails, stair sets, manny pads.  You name it, that place probably has it…unless you’re trying to skate the Mega Ramp.

We ended up leaving for another campus spot where Nick and Justin began jumping down the gap…and landing their tricks.  I was like, “Yo! My gear isn’t even set up yet and you’re already landing your tricks? Hold up!”  Anyways, it was a succesfull day of skating, but I’m sure you’d rather see the flicks, so check ‘em out below.
