Hoodoo Hippie Jibbin’ — Tactics Employees Snowboard Hoodoo
Tactics crew members Brandon Clark, Tim Seig and Mike Schlottig boarded Hoodoo last weekend. Check out Brandon’s write up and pics!
Last weekend fellow Tactics shred hounds Tim, Mike and myself along with Tim’s cousin Casey hit up Hoodoo Mountain last Friday for your usual weekend knuckle draggin’… Mush, crust, gaps, rocks, tall cans, taller cans, windlips, cat track hits, tree runs, tree jibs, park laps, ollies, nollies and follies. It seems like no matter what the weather dishes out, Hoodoo usually comes through and offers up some good times. They actually have a decent little park too, nothing too crazy, but good for a lazy day jib session – there’s a long flat bar, rainbow box, mini battleship rail, flat box, a not-quite-C-box (J box?), and an evil little tire jib at the end that might grip and throw you on your face if you touch it. I swear the lifties planted that one just for fun.
We lapped the mountain all day then decided to post up on a little rainbow tree we came across, snapped a few digi-shots (thanks Casey), park sessioned into the night, and shared some cold ones in the parking lot. Another fun day in Oregon…
