Eugene, Or éS Game of Skate recap
By Benson | June 23, 2009
Tactics hosted the éS Game of Skate on Friday, June 19th under the Washington-Jefferson Bridge, which is the future home of the planned skatepark, or ‘play area’ as the Register-Guard calls it. Nearly 70 skaters showed up to test their skills against Oregon’s finest and it was Portland’s own Bobby Groves who came out on top with a switch laser flip (what!?) to seal the deal; Groves placed second at Hood River’s Game of Skate.
Transworld has a quick recap, some good photos, and a short video for your viewing pleasure, although it’s eerily similar to the éS Journal post. Congrats to Bobby Groves as he earned himself an all-expenses paid trip to compete at the 2009 éS Game of Skate Amateur World Championships in California.
