The cast for this film is pretty stacked: Jeremy Jones, Markku Koski, Ben Lynch, Forrest Shearer, Stacy Thomas, Dave Downing, Nate Farrell, Jim Zellers, Josh Dirksen, Danny Garrity, Shayne Pospasil, Tom Burt, Temple Cummins, Jimi Tomer, Chad Otterstrom, Erik Leines, Joey Papazian, Chris Demolski, Thayne Mahler, Dave Hatchett, and others.
Here’s an official description:
The first film by Leeward Cinema, My Own Two Feet, is a human powered snowboarding journey. This season the crew checked out new places to ride and camped with their friends in the mountains. By doing things on foot the crew was able to visit insane spots to ride, got in the best shape of their lives, learned what it takes to survive in the mountains, and help protect winter by producing little to no carbon footprint.

Burton Performer Snowboard - Circa 1987
posted Friday, May 30th, 2008Check out the really vintage Burton that our buyer Brandon picked up at a local Goodwill for only $15. It’s a Burton Performer Elite 140. Looks like it is from about 1987. It has a little 1/2″ skeg on the back, about 3 inches from the bottom of the tail. Truly a collector’s score; it won’t be on eBay but it will be sitting above Brando’s desk.
J.J. Thomas Make a Wish Foundation Video

He also finds time to help out the Make a Wish Foundation. Here’s a video from last year of J.J., Danny Kass, and Gretchen Bleiler coming together in Breckenridge to make a wish for a young cancer survivor.
Forrest Shearer Gets All Japan

Campus Rail Jam Review
posted Friday, May 9th, 2008Don’t expect much from this review - the Campus Rail Jam yesterday was pretty much what you’d expect. There was some quality stuff thrown down and a lot of not quality stuff. Jesse rep’d high-quality for Tactics and was supplied with liquid and verbal encouragement from Tactics team vetran Sam Driver, and manager Wetrat. I managed to get one weak shot of Jesse pulling something at somepoint in the final round. I’m really bummed I missed a shot of the guy dressed up as the Oregon Duck eating it.
