Pray for Snow at Peabody’s
posted Thursday, November 19th, 2009Over the past week, many resorts have opened up all across the US; Mt. Baker opened with 64 inches, the deepest it’s ever been on opening day for the mountain. Mt. Bachelor’s opening day is set for tomorrow, November 20th, and Willamette Pass is currently slated to get their turnstyles turning Thanksgiving weekend. As Old Man Winter continues to rear his beautiful face, we must ask him to bring more because, you know, as snowboarders, we’re greedy like that.
Join Tactics and KZEL at Peabody’s this evening to Pray For Snow and make 09-10 the best winter yet. Raffle and prizes from 6-8 p.m., but the party will be going long into the night. We hope to see you there!
November 10th Design Meeting

Check out the two designs below and head on over to Skate Eugene to give ‘em some feedback by taking their survey here. If you don’t speak up now, we don’t want to hear any complaining when the park is finished.

First Snow for the Tactics Team
posted Monday, November 16th, 2009Tactics Team Manager Jesse “Wetrat” Johnson got antsy when he heard snow reports of 28″ in a week and realized he couldn’t wait until the chairs opened to go snowboarding. So, this past weekend Jesse decided to shred Mt. Bachelor along with Tactics team riders Tyler Osland and Jesse Lederer. Check out their pics below. You can’t tell me these pics don’t get you hyped for the upcoming snow season!!

Salomon Gives Us a GIFT

See what Jason has to say about the Green Initiative For Tomorrow, which is Salomon’s program to reduce their carbon footprint on the environment.
