Actions REALized Board Series
By Benson | June 24, 2009
“Skateboarding can bring about change. It’s a belief that we have held forever and will never forget. The Actions REALized decks are an extension of that philosophy. A portion of every Actions Realized deck goes directly to the person or organization that you choose to support by being a part of that change.” -DLXSF
Real’s newest line of Actions Realized decks include a Lee Bender/Todd Bratrud collabo, a Second Wind Fund deck, and a board remembering Johnny Romano, Real’s youngest pro who lost his battle with cancer in September 2008.
About a year ago, our DLX rep Jeremy “Zig” Ziegler experience a near tragedy that no family should ever have to go through. Jeremy’s 14-year old brother attempted to take his own life, but was hospitalized. After his brother’s attempted suicide, Zig stepped up to create a collaboration deck with the Second Wind Fund, a non-profit whose mission is to decrease the incidence of teenage suicide by removing financial and social barriers to treatement for at-risk youth.
Zig is an ex-Eugene local with family still here in town and Tactics is very proud to support the Actions REALized board series. The decks should be in the shop very soon and you can bet we’ll be letting you know when they arrive.
