Washington Jefferson is known for it's higher rate of crime and violence for a park in Eugene. Needles in the park, people getting beaten, robbed, stabbed, etc.... It's a handy violent hideaway place close to a shady neighborhood. Skaters like to skate all hours of the day true, but a large portion are late day/ dusk skaters. This only increases the chances of crime and violence against them. A majority are free spirits anyway and sometimes chance risky circumstances for some good downtime but at what cost? It's just a thought. I don't mean to sound like a rain cloud but it's does pose a concern. Are there alternative sites in mind?
