• What does Tactics’ involvement with 1% For the Planet mean to you?
  • I feel great knowing I work for a company that cares for our Planet. Not just to say it — but giving to real organizations who help preserve the nature that we all love so much.

• Which Tactics trip or event is the most memorable for you?
  • Probably my first Snow trip to Mt. Bachelor 4 years ago. It’s just fun kicking with everyone outside the shop, having some beers and BBQing, then getting up early to rage the mountain! Plus, I think Brice passed out in a sleeping bag outside and got snowed on!

• What were you doing before you came to Tactics?
  • I worked for a print shop doing color printing and photoshop/graphics work.

• Best thing about the NW? Worst thing about the NW?
  • The outdoors of course! Ain’t nothin’ bad about the N-Dub.

• What would you be doing if you weren’t working at Tactics?
  • Living in Spain at a Villa/Ranch

• Which brands are you backing?
  • This is a tough one… Matix, RVCA, Obey, The Hundreds, Oakley, Nike SB, CONS, Vans, LibTech, Nike Snowboarding…

• Do you have any nicknames? What are they? How’d you get them?
  • Dluxx would have to be my main nickname, but “Wiz” has also deemed me. “Heavy-D” Dluxx comes straight from DJing the last 11years. It derives from the Greek term: Dave Dluxx!

• Best part about your job?
  • Working with everyone here at Tactics and stoking customers out!

• What would you say it is that you actually do here?
  • I do the buying for most of the men’s clothing, men’s outerwear, and all the skate and casual shoes but that doesn’t mean you won’t find me in the warehouse, on the floor or in a marketing meeting. I love it all.

• Beverage of choice?
  • Non-Alcoholic: Cold water extract coffee baby. Alcoholic: John Walker Black Label & Ginger Ale

• How’d you get your job at Tactics?
  • My friend was working in the warehouse and I needed a job after BuringMan. Got hired on seasonaly and the rest is history.

• Other hobbies?
  • DJing, Event Production, Rafting, Biking, Traveling, Producing Music

• Favorite song/band right now?
  • House Music

• What would you do with $5,000?
  • Take a Heli Trip to Alaska or go to Cairo, Egypt.
