Tactics Boardshop is proud to announce the addition of Bend-area snowboarder Justin Norman to its snow team.
Justin is well recognized as a rising star in the Bend and Mt. Hood snowboarding scenes. Earlier this month he topped the podium at the U.S. Cellular Rail Jam at the Oregon Winterfest in Bend, Oregon. Justin spent much of the 2013 season compiling and producing video footage that showcases his raw talent and effortless style. He will continue his personal pursuit of competition and industry exposure, now with the backing of Eugene’s premier snow, skate and surf shop.

Originally from Eugene, Justin moved to Bend during high school where he graduated from Summit High. He currently is attending Central Oregon Community College and OSU-Cascades with his sights set on an associate’s degree in culinary management and a bachelor’s degree in tourism and outdoor leadership.
“This summer I am planning to work as a grave digger at Windell’s Summer Camp, which will mark my 8th summer at Hood. Then I plan to travel, compete, film, and do work to ensure I have a fulfilling and progressive season,” Justin says. “I’m looking forward to a great season this year. Now that I’ll be finished with school in June, I can’t wait to push my snowboarding to the fullest with the help of Tactics and my other sponsors.”

Justin’s addition to the Tactics team reflects the company’s recent decision to expand its snow team profile to include more regionally recognized riders.
